To help smooth fluctuating resourcing demands, Smalltalk Systems also offers an Application Service contract. Under a flexible arrangement, this service provides access to a resource pool, with relevant skills and familiarity with a client's IT environment.

The Application Service can be applied to any task from strategic consultancy to applications maintenance. By rotating staff through the applications service assignment, Smalltalk Systems can ensure availability of a large resource pool, to satisfy peaks in demand or unexpected staff attrition.
